Apollo Duet Facial

There are three:

Electroporation and Iontophoresis ( No Needle mesotherapy).
By penetrating the skin’s barrier and emitting controlled, high voltage electromagnetic pulses into the skin, will lead to a temporary formation of micro-channels in the outer layer of the skin.
Derma boost products used during the treatment are ionised, this means that once they are actively pushed into the these micro channels they disperse deeper into the skin:

• Improves cell metabolism and slow down skin ageing
• Boosts natural skin hydration
• Sooth’s inflamed and irritated skin
• Brightens skin / reducing hyperpigmentation
• Strengthens the skin immune system

Multipolar Radiofrequency (RF)

This is a very efficient Anti-Ageing treatment, that has been used for many years. It uses high frequency radio waves to heat up water molecules in the dermal matrix of the skin to a temperature of 39-41 Celsius, by doing so this:

• Contracts existing Collagen 1 fibres, thus lifting and tightening sagging skin
• Stimulates fibroblasts to generate new Collagen
• Regenerate the Dermal Matrix and improve skin firmness and hydration

The combination of these technologies with the ability to heat or cool patients’ skin and the use of a complete series of active therapeutic solutions (‘Derma Boost‘), makes Apollo Duet extremely effective in treating practically any skin condition, including inflamed and irritated skin, acne, pigmentation, seborrhea, rosacea, and couperose. The system was also proven very effective in anti-aging treatments.

Contraindications – Electroporation & Iontophoresis
Not suitable if you have any of the following conditions:
• Open skin lesions
• Active chronic diseases
• Active psoriasis, or herpes
• Diabetes manifesting in open wounds
• Hepatitis
• AIDS, if manifested in open skin lesions
• Multiple sclerosis (MS)
• Auto-immune disorders, such as fibromyalgia or cancer (including during the first 5 years of remission), unless approved by a medical doctor
• Any immunodeficiency
• Unstable hypertension (high blood pressure)
• Unstable heart condition
• Hemophilia
• Epilepsy
• Sensitivity to metals (as the device handle is made of titanium) or ingredients in the Derma Boosters
• An electronic device (such as a pacemaker) is permanently attached to the patient’s body, or the patient is sensitive to electric current
• Injections of Botox or hyaluronic acid dermal filler to the face in the past month
• Silicone injections to the area intended for treatment (In case of silicone injections to the lips, the other facial areas can be treated)
• Face lift by permanent threads, no matter how long ago
• If using Retinol products, or products with a high percentage of alpha hydroxy (AHA) and beta hydroxy (BHA) these should be stopped 7-10 days before treatment
• Wait at least 1 week post laser hair removal
• Pregnant or breastfeeding
• Body temperature over 38 °C or when the patient feels sick
• Children under the age of 18
Irritated, inflamed or blemish skin – as well as seborrhoea and rosacea – are not a contraindication for electroporation treatment. On the contrary – for these skin conditions, the electroporation treatment is highly recommended.
Roaccutane, by itself, is also not a contraindication however, intensity during treatment should be kept low as the skin will likely be very dehydrated.

Contraindications – Multipolar RF
Avoid treating patients with the Apollo Duet Radio Frequency function, if they meet or exhibit any of the following conditions:
• Open skin lesions
• Active chronic diseases
• Active skin infections, such as eczema, psoriasis, or herpes
• Unstable, insulin-dependent diabetes
• Hepatitis
• Coagulant problems
• Multiple sclerosis (MS)
• Auto-immune disorders, such as fibromyalgia or cancer (including during the first 10 years of remission), unless approved by a medical doctor.
• Any immunodeficiency
• Unstable hypertension (high blood pressure)
• Unstable heart condition
• Hemophilia
• Epilepsy
• Sensitivity to metals (as the device handle is made of titanium) or ingredients in the Derma Boosters
• An electronic device (such as a pacemaker) is permanently attached to the patient’s body, or the patient is sensitive to electric current
• Seborrhoea, rosacea, or any other skin irritation, inflammation or blemish in the area intended for treatment
• Injections of Botox or hyaluronic acid to the face in the past month
• Silicone injections to the area intended for treatment (In case of silicone injections to the lips, the other facial areas can be treated)
• Face lift by injecting permanent threads to the dermis, no matter how long ago, or by inserting dissolvable threads to the dermis in the past 6 months
• Wait at least 1 week post laser hair removal
• Oral retinoids (Roaccutane) used within 6 months prior to treatment and antibiotics to treat inflammation (acne) used within 1 week prior to treatment
• Pregnant or breastfeeding
• Body temperature over 38°C or when the patient feels sick
• Children under the age of 18

A series of at least 6-8 treatments:
– 1st treatment we advise a full Electroporation & Iontophoresis treatment only
– 2nd treatment 7-10 days after first treatment EL & ION, followed by RF
– 3rd and 4th treatment 2 weeks from previous treatment (EL & ION for 10minutes, followed by RF)
– All following treatments 3 weeks from previous treatment (EL & ION for 10minutes, followed by RF)
– A maintenance session of 1 treatment can be carried out every month
