A soft and gentle way to remove unwanted hair. We use a combination of strip wax and threading to quickly and conveniently treat various areas. Helping you avoid the wasted time shaving, giving you, smoother, hair free skin for longer.

• Then liberally apply pre-wax lotion to the area being waxed and then dry thoroughly. There should be no pre-wax lotion left on your skin when the wax is applied.

• We then dust your skin with powder. This acts as a buffer, so the wax adheres to your hairs and not to your skin. This means less redness and guards against skin lift. Your therapist may use tweezers to remove some of the hairs missed by the wax. This usually occurs if the hairs are too short or ingrown. Proper consideration needs to be discussed with your therapist as to whether the hairs are long enough for waxing. Strip wax is more efficient than hot wax for shorter hairs.

• We look over the waxed area to ensure the removal of any remaining wax. This wax is removed easily by reapplying the wax strip to lift off any remaining wax.

Don’t… Sunbathe or go swimming on the day before waxing. Apply moisturiser on your legs on waxing day. Exfoliate on waxing day as this makes your skin sensitive and could cause inflammation. Exercise one hour before your waxing session.

Expect your skin to be sensitive and a little red. The skin should look evenly red and spotty where the waxing has occurred. Use antibacterial or anti-inflammatory moisturisers and only use warm water when washing. Two days after waxing, lightly exfoliate your legs and use Ingrown Stopper to soften hairs and help prevent ingrown ones.
